Patient Obligation

• Your cooperation with "we", "us", "our" or "Sculpted Medical Tourism" with the corresponding surgeon/specialist/doctor and healthcare service provider, to foster and execute your prearranged medical treatment program.​

• To gather intelligence, if you do not comprehend information, medical terms, the impending treatment program, or what is expected of you pre- and post-treatment, whether it is a medical or an elective cosmetic treatment.

• To consult with your accredited surgeon/specialist/doctor prior to self-medicating and/or seeking alternative therapies, including herbal medicines, etc. These alternative treatments and medicines may inhibit your ongoing treatment program.

• To disclose ALL medical history and current medical information to your surgeon/specialist/doctor, before, during, and after treatment, including unexpected changes in your condition, new symptoms, or increased pain.

• Understand that you may be subject to a full medical examination on your arrival, before your impending treatment program.

​​

• Should there be any abnormalities, i.e., nicotine from your test results, your treatment plan may be postponed.

​​

• To make an effort to understand and accept the cultural differences of the health workers caring for you, and between you and patients from other countries, show respect and courtesy to those you meet on your medical journey, and communicate your wants and needs.

• To take all possible precautions against wound infection / medical treatment pathogens/inhibitors, employing strict following the surgeon/specialist/doctor's orders.

• To be honest, accurate, and thorough when providing personal information, and update this information regularly

• To be prepared and well educated on your elective cosmetic procedure / medical condition and requirements.

​​

• To seek out reliable sources of information, and be particularly cautious of internet websites and chat rooms, media that may distort, positively or negatively, information about a hospital, doctor, Sculpted Medical Tourism, partners, or patients/clients.

• To understand that as a medical Tourist who is also an international patient/client, you are a partner in your medical well-being and therefore need to continue with your prescribed treatment plan after returning home.
