NON-INVASIVE PROCEDURES
In today’s image-conscious world, it’s rare for anyone to feel completely content with every aspect of their appearance. Whether it's the result of aging, genetics, sun exposure, or lifestyle habits, many people begin to notice changes in their bodies that affect how they look and feel. Common concerns such as stubborn fat deposits, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, and visible cellulite can have a significant impact on self-confidence. Fortunately, advancements in aesthetic medicine have made it possible to address these issues without undergoing surgery.

A growing number of individuals are turning to non-invasive cosmetic treatments to rejuvenate their appearance and restore youthful contours. These non-surgical facial and body procedures are designed to improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity while sculpting and refining the body—all with minimal downtime and no surgical intervention.
Led by skilled and experienced plastic surgeons and aesthetic practitioners, clinics across South Africa offer a wide variety of non-surgical aesthetic solutions. From injectables like Botox® and dermal fillers to body contouring treatments such as cryolipolysis (fat freezing), radiofrequency skin tightening, and cellulite reduction therapies, patients can achieve natural-looking, long-lasting results tailored to their unique goals.
These modern treatments are ideal for individuals who want visible improvements without the risks, scars, or recovery time associated with traditional surgery. Whether you’re looking to smooth wrinkles, sculpt your waistline, or rejuvenate tired skin, non-invasive cosmetic procedures provide an effective, convenient path to looking and feeling your best—no scalpel required.
Liquid Face-Lift

Understanding the Liquid Facelift
A liquid facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Instead of incisions or general anesthesia, this minimally invasive treatment uses injectable dermal fillers—such as hyaluronic acid (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane) and neuromodulators like Botox—to lift and rejuvenate the face. The goal is to subtly reshape and refresh the facial structure without altering natural expressions.

How It Works
During a liquid facelift, a skilled practitioner strategically injects fillers into areas that have lost volume due to aging, such as the cheeks, temples, jawline, and under-eye hollows. Botox may be used in targeted areas like the forehead and crow’s feet to smooth dynamic wrinkles. The combination of volume restoration and wrinkle relaxation creates a more youthful, rested appearance with immediate results and minimal downtime—most patients return to normal activities within a day.

Who It’s Best For
A liquid facelift is ideal for individuals in their late 30s to 50s experiencing early to moderate signs of facial aging who want noticeable, natural-looking results without the risks or recovery time of surgery. It’s especially beneficial for those with volume loss in the mid-face, mild sagging, or surface wrinkles who are not yet ready—or may never need—a surgical facelift. It also appeals to patients seeking a temporary solution or looking to preview potential surgical results.

Benefits and Considerations
The benefits of a liquid facelift include a refreshed appearance, no surgical scars, and customizable results. It’s also reversible in many cases, particularly with hyaluronic acid fillers. However, the results are temporary—typically lasting 12 to 18 months depending on the products used—and touch-ups are required to maintain the effect. Choosing a qualified, experienced injector is crucial for both safety and achieving a balanced, natural look.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Having one particular facial feature out of proportion to the rest can cause distress. Equally, the need to resort to surgery is perhaps not an attractive prospect either. There is now a vast selection of non-surgical treatments available to help reshape the nose, and the good news is that none of them involves incisions or scalpels.

Non-surgical nose reshaping is a revolutionary technique whereby dermal fillers are injected into the nose to help reshape it without surgery. This technique can:
-
Straighten bridges
-
Soften bumps on the bridge
-
Reshape the tip of the nose

As with most dermal filler treatments, non-surgical nose reshaping is performed via injection. Dermal fillers will be injected either into the tip or into the bridge of the nose. Post injection, some minor massage and moulding will help finalise the result and desired aesthetic appearance.

A treatment session for non-surgical nose reshaping will take between 15 and 20 minutes. In most cases, patients combine their non-surgical nose reshaping with additional wrinkle and anti-ageing corrections, including Botulinum toxin, Dermal Fillers, and Liquid Facelifts.

Results will be immediate, although in some instances your nose may appear red and swollen for a few hours. The result traditionally lasts in excess of 9 months, with an average of between 12-14 months before a re-treatment is required.
Non-Surgical Cheek Augmentation

Loss of volume in the cheeks can significantly impact the rest of the face. Everything shifts downwards, jowls appear, and you start to look permanently unhappy and tired. We use cheek dermal fillers to lift the skin, restructure the face, and restore the lost volume. Products such as Radiesse provide a supporting foundation but do not create harsh angles or exaggerated looks.
What is Non-Surgical cheek augmentation?
There are both radical and non-radical approaches to reshaping the cheeks. Cheek fillers, under her expert guidance, are a safer, non-surgical approach to re-plumping and contouring the cheek area.
The entire treatment takes 20 minutes. Fillers need to be administered by our specially trained doctor. The doctor will determine where to administer the filler to achieve the best results. A topical local anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin to minimise discomfort. You can return to your normal activities afterwards. Although treatment effects differ for each person, a clinical study revealed that Radiesse can last up to 12-18 months.

Results are visible immediately, providing an instant boost to your appearance. Depending on the filler used, these results can last for a significant period, gradually reverting to their pre-treatment appearance after 12 to 18 months.
The most common side effects are redness, bruising, or swelling, which typically subside within a few days. In rare cases, more serious side effects may occur, such as infection or allergic reaction, but these are extremely rare and can be managed with appropriate medical care.
Botulinum Toxin (Botox® and Similar Injectable

Botulinum Toxin is a purified protein used to temporarily relax specific facial muscles, smoothing out dynamic wrinkles such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows. It’s one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments worldwide due to its effectiveness, minimal downtime, and quick results. Treatment involves a few small injections, typically taking just 10–15 minutes, with noticeable results appearing within a few days and lasting up to 3–4 months.
How does Botulinum Toxin work?
Botulinum Toxin is injected into the muscles that cause lines between your brows, on your forehead, or around the eyes to block the nerve impulse from reaching these muscles so they can relax. This relaxation enables the frown lines to simply smooth away. The treatment only takes 10 minutes. It is a scheduled medication and needs to be administered by our specially trained doctor. No anesthetic is required. You can return to your normal activities immediately afterwards.

You will see a marked improvement in your frown lines within days. The results will continue to improve for up to 10 days. Results can last for up to four months, but this varies from person to person. After subsequent Botulinum Toxin treatments, results can last even longer.

What can Botulinum Toxin treat?
The Botulinum Toxin can treat the frown lines between the eyebrows, the lines on the forehead, the crows' feet around the eyes, the drooping corners of the mouth, as well as axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Lip Sculpting Treatment in Cape Town
Lip sculpting is an innovative way of applying an injectable to the components of the lip, thus enhancing its attractive features. The volume of the lip can be enhanced to make thin or tight lips more fleshy and luscious. The bottom lip can be accentuated by plumping it so that it becomes more attractive as well. The most important part of lip sculpting is the creation of a natural, cosmetically pleasing result. A successfully sculpted lip should not attract attention to having been “done".

What is Lip Sculpting Treatment?
The Lip Sculpting treatment involves augmenting or adding volume to thin lips. Lip shape can be redefined and enhanced by using Restylane. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid-based gel enhanced with painkilling Lidocaine (a commonly used anesthetic).
Restylane is the best lip enhancing treatment to reshape perioral areas (the skin around the mouth), to increase the volume of the lips, and reshape them by enhancing the vermilion border (the line that separates the lips and the skin), defining philtrum ridges (the lines that run from your nose to your lips), minimising lipstick bleed lines, and sculpting for optimum shape and size.

The Lip Sculpting treatment takes less than 30 minutes. You can return to your normal activities immediately afterwards.
Restylane provides the most natural-looking results with minimal discomfort and swelling after treatment. In addition, it’s proven to last for up to 12 months, making it the longest-lasting product available today.

The Lip Sculpting procedure has minimal side effects. Patients commonly experience slight redness, mild swelling, and tenderness around the treated area. Restylane is enhanced with Lidocaine (a commonly used anesthetic); however, to make your treatment as comfortable as possible, numbing cream will be applied to the area before the procedure begins.
General Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers have become one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments worldwide—and for good reason. These gel-like substances, most often made from hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring compound in the body), are designed to restore lost volume, smooth lines, and subtly enhance facial features.

Fillers are incredibly versatile and can be used in many areas of the face and hands. Common treatment zones include the cheeks for added lift, the under-eye area to reduce hollowness, the nasolabial folds (smile lines), and marionette lines near the chin. Many clients also choose fillers to enhance lip volume and shape, contour the jawline, or soften the appearance of ageing hands. Each treatment is tailored to your unique features and aesthetic goals, offering a personalised experience that enhances rather than changes.

One of the biggest advantages of dermal fillers is how quick and convenient the treatment is. Most sessions take between 20 to 45 minutes, with minimal discomfort thanks to the inclusion of a numbing agent in the filler itself. You can expect little to no downtime and are usually able to return to your daily routine immediately after treatment. While results are visible right away, they typically continue to improve over the next few days as the product settles.

Dermal fillers are ideal for anyone noticing volume loss, fine lines, or changes in skin texture due to ageing, sun exposure, or lifestyle factors. Whether you're looking to refresh your appearance or enhance specific features, fillers can deliver noticeable yet natural results. Depending on the area treated and the type of product used, results generally last between six months to eighteen months.

As with any cosmetic treatment, there are some potential side effects, though they are usually mild and temporary. These can include slight redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. Rare complications like infection or vascular issues are very uncommon when the procedure is done by a trained medical professional
Skin Laser Resurfacing

Skin laser resurfacing is a powerful, non-surgical treatment that helps rejuvenate tired, sun-damaged, or uneven skin by improving texture, tone, and overall radiance. This advanced procedure uses concentrated beams of light to gently remove layers of damaged skin with precision. The body naturally responds by producing new skin cells and collagen, resulting in a clearer, firmer, and more even complexion. Laser resurfacing is particularly effective for treating fine lines and wrinkles (especially around the eyes and mouth), acne scars, pigmentation, sun spots, and large pores.

Skin laser resurfacing can be performed on the full face, neck, chest, or in more targeted areas, depending on your specific goals. The treatment usually takes between 30 to 90 minutes, and while it’s minimally invasive, some downtime may be expected—ranging from a few days to a week—depending on the depth and intensity of the laser used. Lighter treatments allow for quicker recovery, while deeper resurfacing yields more dramatic results over time.

One of the biggest benefits of this procedure is the improvement in skin quality that continues to develop even after healing. As collagen production is stimulated, clients often notice firmer skin, a smoother surface, and a more youthful glow over several months. While some results are visible soon after healing, full benefits typically peak after 2–3 months and can last for years with proper skin care and sun protection.

Laser resurfacing is ideal for individuals looking to address signs of ageing, sun damage, scarring, or uneven skin tone—without the need for surgery. However, it may not be suitable for those with very dark skin tones or certain medical conditions. That’s why every Sculpted journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with a qualified aesthetic professional who can assess your skin and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan.

As with any cosmetic procedure, side effects are possible, but generally mild. These may include temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, or peeling. Our partner clinics use advanced cooling systems and aftercare protocols to minimise discomfort and promote quick healing.
